These terms govern your use of the Rydmitra customer app, the Rydmitra Captain app and the website rydmitra.com (together, the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by Acute Market Insights Private Limited (CIN U73200GJ2021PTC120621), 1, Anand Chowk, Nr. Ashokbhai Vado, Dwarka, Gujarat, India - 361335 ("Rydmitra", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these terms.
1. What Rydmitra does
Rydmitra is a technology platform that connects people who need a ride ("customers") with independent drivers who offer rides on bikes, autos and cabs ("captains"). Rides are provided by the captains. Rydmitra arranges the booking, calculates the fare, handles payments made through the Platform and offers customer support.
2. Your account
- You log in with your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP). Keep your phone and OTPs private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. A minor may travel only with an adult who books the ride.
- Give correct information and keep it up to date. We may suspend accounts that give false information, misuse the Platform or break these terms.
3. Booking and fares
- The app shows an estimated fare before you book. The final fare is based on the actual distance and time of the trip, waiting time, night or peak-hour charges and applicable taxes, as described on our Fares page.
- A ride starts only after you share the ride OTP with the captain. Check the vehicle number and captain shown in the app before you get in.
- Pay the fare shown in the app at the end of the trip, in cash, from your Rydmitra wallet, or by any online method offered in the app. Do not pay captains more than the fare shown.
- Cancellations and refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Rules for customers
- Treat captains with respect. Do not carry illegal, dangerous or prohibited items, or more passengers than the vehicle allows.
- You are responsible for any damage you cause to the vehicle.
- Smoking, alcohol and drugs are not allowed during rides.
5. Rules for captains
- Captains must hold a valid driving licence, vehicle registration, insurance and permits required by law, and upload them for verification. Rydmitra may reject or suspend any captain.
- Captains must follow traffic laws, drive safely, take the route shown or asked by the customer, and charge only the fare shown in the app.
- Captains are independent service providers, not employees or agents of Rydmitra. Earnings, commission and settlement are shown in the Captain app.
6. Safety
Location sharing, the ride OTP, trip details and in-app support are there to keep rides safe. In an emergency, call 112. Report any safety issue to us through the app or at support@rydmitra.com.
7. Limitation of liability
We work to keep the Platform available and accurate but do not guarantee that a captain will always be available or that the Platform will be free of interruptions. To the extent permitted by law, Rydmitra is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for acts of captains or customers. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes are announced in the app. Continuing to use the Platform means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Dwarka, Gujarat have jurisdiction. Please contact us first; most issues are resolved quickly through support.
